The school lunch for the 286 children and the teachers is simply arranged. There is the same school lunch term after term, week after week. At breakfast break, there is liquid maize porridge, and at lunch, a maize mash with beans and some gravy. The children eat with their fingers.

Cooking is done in the “school kitchen”, a simple tin hut on an open wood fire under less than hygienic conditions. These conditions no longer fit the growing number of pupils. A new school kitchen is already planned and the foundation walls are already in place.

At the moment, there is still no money for further construction.
